Last updated: 10 May 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StatemAInt platform, including our website at statemaint.com, our application at app.statemaint.com, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Description of service
StatemAInt provides an AI-powered platform for bank statement review and financial analysis. The Service allows authorised operators to:
- Upload PDF bank statements for automated transaction extraction.
- Review, correct, and validate extracted transaction data against the source document.
- Receive advisor suggestions to flag correctness issues and lending-specific risk markers.
- Produce structured analysis output including categories, anomalies, affordability indicators, red flags, and decision summaries.
- Export reviewed transaction data and audit trails in CSV format.
The Service is designed to support—not replace—professional lending judgment. All AI-generated outputs should be reviewed by qualified personnel before being relied upon in lending decisions.
3. Account registration and access
3.1 Registration
To access the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at hello@statemaint.com.
3.3 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable financial regulations.
- Upload documents that you are not authorised to process or that belong to individuals who have not consented to such processing.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Service's underlying technology, models, or algorithms.
- Share your account credentials with unauthorised persons.
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.
4. Financial data and document handling
4.1 Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right and authority to upload and process any bank statement documents through the Service. This includes obtaining any required consents from the individuals whose financial data is contained in those documents.
4.2 Data accuracy
While our extraction and analysis systems are designed for accuracy, AI-generated outputs may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted data, advisor suggestions, and analysis outputs before relying on them. The Service provides human-in-the-loop review capabilities for this purpose.
4.3 Regulatory compliance
You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing financial data handling, privacy, anti-money laundering, and responsible lending in your jurisdiction. StatemAInt is a tool to assist qualified professionals—it does not itself constitute a lending decision or financial advice.
5. Intellectual property
5.1 Our rights
The Service and all associated software, documentation, logos, and visual design are owned by StatemAInt and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The StatemAInt name, logo, and brand marks may not be used without our prior written consent.
5.2 Your data
You retain all rights to the bank statement documents you upload and the transaction data extracted from them. Your review decisions, edits, and comments remain yours. We process this data solely to provide the Service as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
5.3 Feedback
If you provide suggestions, feedback, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use and incorporate that feedback into our products and services.
6. Subscription and payment
6.1 Plans and pricing
Access to the Service is provided on a subscription basis. Plan details, pricing, and feature availability are described on our website or in your executed agreement with us. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
7.1 Service disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
7.2 AI output disclaimer
AI-generated transaction extractions, advisor suggestions, analysis outputs, and risk assessments are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice, lending recommendations, or credit decisions. Users must exercise their own professional judgment and verify all outputs before acting on them.
7.3 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatemAInt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Termination
8.1 Termination by you
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. We will retain your data for 90 days in accordance with our data retention policy to allow you to export any information you may need.
8.2 Termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in conduct that is harmful to the Service or other users, or fail to pay subscription fees when due.
8.3 Survival
The following sections survive termination: 4 (Financial Data), 5 (Intellectual Property), 7 (Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability), and 9 (General Provisions).

9.3 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and StatemAInt regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
